A very specific Refit project: the replacement of a keel of the 51 ft. Truly Classic Hoek Design ‘ Josephine’. Due to the specialized project, Naval architect Andre Hoek advised the owners of the yacht to let Hutting Yachts execute it. A great compliment and a great challenge for us to accomplish.
The keel centre board was changed to a fixed keel to improve the sailing performance. Some additional standard exterior maintenance tasks enabled the yacht to proudly sail the Thames again, which indeed she is doing again now!
An interesting project during which complications can be catastrophic: these are projects we look forward to at Hutting Yachts!
