After 27 years, the Koopmans 43 called “Skadi” has been completely renewed due to a Total Refit by Hutting Yachts. Summer 2015, the current owners returned from a 12-year stay aboard the “Skadi” in Spitsbergen. Prior to that, they also spent more time aboard than ashore for 14 years, mainly in the Arctic.
The sailing yacht had been completely stripped and sand blasted. All of the teak wood, the teak deck, windows and winches have been replaced and the hull has been polished to look like new again. New yacht painting, new teak deck and new technical installations. The yacht is as new again and got successfully sold to a new owner.
